Our journey starts with a visit of the Eco-Cabins in Junin, a place surrounded by spectacular flora and fauna. This will be our lodging place where we will receive a welcome lunch made of typical food.

After a few hours, we will have a small chat with some locals who will introduce us to the background of the area and the natural richness of these forests. After accomplishing this activity, we will visit the Community of Junin and go on a short walk around the village to learn more about its history.

We will end this visit by returning to the lodge for a demonstration of a series of videos, shown by the community, about the fight of these villages against the mining and their aims to defend the land and nature.

Once at the foot of this gorgeous waterfall, we will have lunch and can enjoy a relaxing bath in the pool of the cascade.

A couple of hours before dark, we will return to the cabins, where a delicious dinner is waiting for us. For the remainder of the evening we will be entertained by a group of Junin musicians, who will delight us with typical songs while we taste Canelazo, a hot alcoholic drink, prepared with the typical liquor of the area.
